Berberine originates from the plant genus Berberis. An important part of this plant family is the Berberis aristata, also known as the Indian Berberis or tree turmeric.
Berberine has traditionally been used for cholesterol, blood sugar levels and cardiovascular support. We use the well-known patented Rebersa® extract. This comes from the roots of the Berberis aristata.
