Mucuna pruriens is a plant that is traditionally used in India to treat infertility in men.
A number of promising studies have recently been conducted with Mucuna. Mucuna has a high content of L-Dopa, which is the precursor of dopamine. On average, the concentration of L-Dopa is 3.3%. The results with these ground seeds show a clear improvement in sperm count. These studies used 5 grams of the ground seeds per day. This is of course quite a lot.
For that reason we work with an extract that is standardized at 15%. Of this, 1100 mg would be needed in the first three months respectively.
The product is also supplemented with vitamins C and E and the minerals Zinc and Selenium. There are also indications that these ingredients have a positive effect on male fertility.
